And treacherous and I like using these words whenever they are appropriate... which they were when Nicole, Alvin and I were on these rickety planks of death!!!!!
I am so glad they were good sports about all this treachery!

Meet Nicole and Alvin- a super cute couple that I got to shoot in the frigid cold weather of South Florida- I'm kidding, it wasn't that cold (nothing compared to Colorado), but the waters were definitely cold enough to keep us all shivering in our flip-flops!

You can't really tell, but this photo was taken on the end of a very long, very rickety old pier. I felt bad asking these two to head over all these broken boards with the waves splashing water on them, but both were game. Then came the hard part of me gathering up enough nerve to follow them out on said rickety pier with all my equipment strapped to me- I was terrified that a wave would come and drop me right into the ocean and all my lenses and cameras would be ruined! In order to decrease my chance of this happening, I left everything but one lens and one camera on the sand and followed them out. The results were worth traversing the treacherous Atlantic waters!

I was off again for another weekend'o'fun... but I'm back here with another photo of Adri, who, despite the freezing water, was willing to dip in to get a cool photo:

Now, the funny thing is that a few weeks after Adri got her comp cards in the mail, she told me about a photo she saw in a magazine that resembled this one and sent me a link to it. Sure enough, you'd think we attempted to recreate this shot of Olivia Munn:

I thought that was pretty interesting. Kudos to both beautiful women for getting into cold water for the sake of aesthetics!

Meet Adri: a beautiful girl who wanted some photos to use in comp cards- the equivalent of a business card for models. We met up bright and early one morning, and thankfully, with the help of one awesome assistant, we were able to defeat the South Florida sun and get some cool shots.

More to come :)

A delicious cocktail made with whiskey, or a beautiful girl with the charm of Betty Grable? You decide:
