I have been friends with Julia since I was 13 years old. We went to the same middle school and we knew of each other, but had never really became close friends until I got into a fight with my group of friends in the 8th grade and went in search of fun new people to become friends with. As luck would have it, I no longer really keep in touch with anyone in the first group, but Julia and I are still very close friends.
Out of all the people in my life, Julia is right on up there in the category of 'go-to girls'. If what I need is advice, consolation or a swift kick in the butt, she is there for me.
Imagine my shock and delight when Julia told me that she was pregnant! I was so excited for her, to be near her and to watch her belly swell with the new life she was weaving.
Just like I knew she would, she had her baby without a hitch. I got the text at around seven in the morning and started crying with happiness.
This is her beautiful baby boy, at 13 days old, on the day his umbilical stump decided to fall off!
I'll upload some more photos over the next few days as I get more of them edited :)

I have one more photo to share of Nicole and Alvin. They are so super cute, I have a hard time putting their pics down... but I promise to move on after this one!
Thank you guys for letting me spend some time with you and take your photos. I had such a good time! If nothing else, it was worth it to see Melissa wrangle my reflector in the gale force winds on that pier!

Okay, unlike yesterday, where I barely had time to think, today I have some spare moments to do some 'splaining: BEHOLD!
So cute! I love the way they hold each other! This was kind of a strange photo to take because of the super weird angle that this little mound of sand was arranged in, and the fact that I had only the previously mentioned rickety dock to stand on. It has a nice romantic, 'we are the only people in the world' feel, though, and that's pretty cool.
