Good Morrow!
I've got some photos to share of a beautiful couple whose engagement photos I shared on the blog a few months ago.
Meet Gardenio:
Super fun, super cool, super nice.
Meet Daylenis:
Super beautiful, super kind, super caring.
The ceremony took place outdoors at a beautiful location in Wellington underneath a beautiful blue sky and a blazing Florida sun.
The clouds in the sky were so cool, so we took a few minutes after the ceremony to use them as a back drop.

The clouds in the sky were so cool, so we took a few minutes after the ceremony to use them as a back drop. What a super cute design. Daylenis saw this in a magazine and asked her baker to recreate it, which she did beautifully.
The majority of the reception was spent with G & D dancing like contestants on Dancing With The Stars and making me feel like I need to enroll in some lessons STAT. I have spent the past few weeks listening to the song that was playing when this photo was taken on repeat.
There is not way to describe the way these two dance together. It was a sight to behold.
After the wedding I asked Daylenis how they met, and she told me she went to a party where everyone was dancing and she saw this super cute guy (that'd be Gardenio). They didn't cross paths that night and Daylenis says she didn't know how to dance super well at the time, but she continued attending these parties and getting better and better at dancing until they finally partnered up.
Again, to see a couple that are so obviously in love with each other and to be a witness to them literally becoming lifelong dancing partners is pretty amazing.
A big thanks to G & D for being so much fun to work with and for the reminder that finding and holding on to the right partner is quintessential to a successful dance.

Noelle

You know what I love? The word game. You know, where someone says a word and you say the first thing that comes to mind. Kind of like this:
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Skittles."
Noelle: "Two by Fours!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Uh, okay. Beans."
Noelle: "Fava with a glass of chianti!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Wow. That's special. Calendar."
Noelle: "Corn on the cob!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Maybe we should stop playing this game. I'm starting to get worried."
Maybe that was a bad example. Freudian slip. Let's move on to another version of the Word Game- Wedding Edition!
Cake!
Bling!
Double Bling!
Flowers!
Giant Bouquets!
Chandelier with Bling...
Which should not be confused with Chandler Bing:

Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Skittles."
Noelle: "Two by Fours!"

You may remember Jack and Lena as the couple with the amazing engagement photos that taught me a valuable lesson about avoiding casualties at work. I just finished editing their wedding photos and am excited to share some of the day's highlights!
Here is Jack, getting ready. I started out with him and the boys getting ready and had a hard time keeping a straight face around his groomsmen.
Now let's meet the insanely gorgeous Lena:

What's the only thing better than one Lena?
Two Lenas!
All the bridesmaids were gorgeous themselves, and the combo of all the gorgeousness and the fantastic dresses had my head spinning.
The ceremony was held on the beach, on a beautiful day:
Which allowed us to take lots of photos right after the ceremony

Is the sky amazing or what?!

After which, we proceed to the party. I just have to share a few photos from the reception, especially this one, of Jack dancing with his mom, who is some kind of super ballroom dancer. This was the very last move of their dance, and the best man decided he wanted a photo of the ending as well, hence him and his camera to the right of the photo!
This was be the most excited group of garter-catching-hopefuls I've ever seen, along with quite the original pose from Jack!
And finally, the last shot of the night, when all anyone wanted to do was go to sleep from the intense partying!

Greetings!
I come with photos from the wedding of Jason and Jennifer, our fun-loving couple who chose to do their engagement photos at a carnival, and thus have gained the status of awesome in my world.
The Js got married at the beautiful B Ocean Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Jason's suite was unbelievable, with 2 walls made of glass so you got an almost 180 degree view of A1A and the beach.
This is Jason. He's super nice and obviously comes from a line with strong genes- I walked into a room and spotted his brother and sisters without ever having met them before. True story.
I wish all men walked around in tuxedos all the time. If I ever become the president, I will make this a rule. All men in tuxes, all the time.
Now, check out Jen's flowers:
and the rest of her beautiful self
She's stunning, and that's all I have to say about that (name the movie quote).
Now let's have a sneak peek at their ceremony
After the ceremony, it seemed the dancing began right away, given the awesome music that was being played. Which leads me to one of the funnest dancing moments I've witnessed:
You know what that's called?
That's called breakin it down!
The Js were shaking it like a salt shaker.
Because we didn't have much time in between the ceremony and the reception, we wound up doing some Apres-dancing shots. Thank you to all involved Js for being cooperative and willing to go to the after party in the hotel lobby (name the song)!

Here are the stats:
Coordinator: Joni Scalzo of Your Special Day by Joni
Make Up and Hair: Jennette Sandifer of Beauty Couture Inc.
Venue: B Ocean Hotel
A huge thank you to Jason and Jennifer for being one of the kindest, most loving and most in love couple I've photographed in a long time. You guys were an absolute joy to work with.
Loving Life,
Noelle

Okay, so I never thought that what began as a very docile photo session would turn into a death trap!
I met up with Jack and Lena to photograph them for their engagement session, and all was nice and calm where we began:
A beautiful park, very calm, lots of baby frogs, and huge, lovely old trees:
After we left the beautiful park, we ventured to a spot Lena had found, which had some awesome graphic elements painted on the walls:
and
Which was all super great, until I almost got run over by a train!!! Not cool! Not cool at all!
After I regained my composure and convinced my knees to stop shaking, we proceeded to the beach for some Zack-and-Kelly-hanging-out-with-my-BFF-style photos (kudos to Lena for being the first person ever to understand this reference without the need for further clarification):
I'm not sure what Jack whispered in her ear right then, but I'm afraid it probably wasn't something PG... Just a feeling...
But that's okay, because she loves him a whole lot!
TIGER!!! RAAARRRR!!!
This photo required more near-death gymnastics-type moves, involving elaborate dismounts and such, but it was totally worth it if for nothing less than being able to say that this was my most hair-raising photo shoot to date!
A big thanks to Jack for putting up with temperatures comparable to those in Death Valley, and to Lena for laughing with me over TV shows from the 90s.
