How is it that I've never heard of the South Florida Fair before? Has anyone out there been to this thing? It's amazing!
I finally came to learn of this fair and to enjoy its awesomeness via Jennifer, who wanted a less-than-traditional setting for her engagement photos. I suggested a carnival, since she had mentioned that her and her fiance, Jason, love carnivals and fairs and -BOOM- magic was made!!
Funny story: As I'm taking the above photo, this super cool clown ran up to our beautiful couple and demanded that I take a photo with him in it for good luck:
He said he and his wife (who was with him and was not dressed as a clown) have been happily married for 34 years and that the secret is to keep each other laughing.
I think they are doing a pretty great job of laughing and loving each other!
And speaking of Ferris Wheels, I had forgotten how treacherous they can be. Hello, Pepto Bismol. I need you.
Speaking of antacids, how about the Cotton Candy Monster that runs loose at state fairs?
Jennifer went for a candied apple instead, which I was more than happy about because it led to cute photo ops and epic battles for bites of sugar-encrusted fruits.
You want to see a paradox?
A ski lift in South Florida. My world will never be the same!
I Love Pepto,
Noelle

It seems that babies tend to come in waves, and recently, baby fever is in the air!
These are photos of the beautiful Brooke and her brand new, beautiful boy, Collin (who has more personality even at a few weeks of age than most kids do at 2).
Isn't he delicious?
Look at that perfectly round head!

A few days ago, I shot engagement photos for Darren and Nicole at the location of their choice- Morikami Museum and Gardens in Boca Raton, Florida.
What a gorgeous location! The sun was ridiculously bright and lots of visitors were touring the gardens, which made for interesting conversations with many strangers!
Who's familiar with Frank Sinatra's song "When You're Smiling"? Anyone? Anyone? Please feel free to be reminded here. Nicole's infectious smile had me humming the tune the whole time we were walking around the gardens.
For those who have not visited Morikami, here are 2 shots that give you a great idea of what it's like:

Isn't it beautiful?!
Look at their eyes!!! GORGEOUS!
You really can't run out of great locations at Morikami, but you know what helps? Couples willing to let loose and have a good time:

Let's review shall we?
Recipe for success:
1) Blue-eyed people willing to dance in public
2) Location filled with cool Bonsai trees and lots of tourists
3) Florida sun hyped up on RedBull
Mix all ingredients and enjoy!

A few weeks ago, I did a promotional photo for Killing Kevin Spacey, a play that will be showing at the Broward Center for the Performing Art's Amaturo Theater on October 29th and 30th.
The photo recently accompanied an article on Broadway World, an international website devoted to all things dramatics.
The show has done extremely well and has won numerous awards at film festivals in Canada and will be making its US debut right here in South Florida.
Check out the article here and come out to the Broward Center this coming weekend for a good time and lots of laughs.

Noelle:
Thanks, Deja'! It was a lot of fun seeing the photos playing on a 14 foot screen during the play. I felt pretty special!
