True Story:
A bride contacts me via my website. Before I even open the email, I realize that her name is very familiar and I start trying to piece together where we've met.
I read the email, in which she states "I think we maybe went to high school together."
Now, before you think we've lost our minds in the decade plus that has passed since our high school days ended, you should know that I went to a big school. Big. Really big. As in "I may know you, I may not, you may just have a name that sounds like the name of one of the thousands of people I used to know."
Where was I going with this? Oh yeah, Kristen asks if we went to high school together and it clicks: we were in the same P.E. class in the 9th grade. Crazy!
We catch up and meet; fast-forward almost a year and boom, here we are at her wedding.
Kristen made the most beautiful programs with different sand dollars and seashells and stones on the front:

And the girls making a fuss over Kristen. Aren't old friends great?!

Above is Kristen just before walking down the aisle and below is her super cool dad leading his girl to her soon-to-be husband.

The Bonnet House is so beautiful. They tell me there are monkeys that live in the trees. I didn't see any monkeys but I'm hopeful to make a monkey's acquaintance some day.
That's one happy couple!
It got dark really quick after the ceremony and we were being eaten alive by the hungry mosquitoes, so we did some very quick shots of the two before running back to the reception.

And finally, at the end of the night, Prince Charming put a coat over the Princess, took her home and they lived happily ever after!

Still Believes in Fairy Tales,

Sometimes you meet a couple that absolutely takes your breath away.
From the first time I spoke to Tamar on the phone, I knew she was my kind of girl. She's well-spoken, polite, witty and once I met her in person, I came to learn that she's also incredibly beautiful. She's pretty much the whole package.
Given our numerous conversations in planning this shoot, by the time she and I met, I felt like we'd know each other much longer than the 3 seconds that had spanned since our actual meeting. We quickly began traipsing through Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Coconut Grove and putting down on paper the kindness, love and devotion that is so evident in Tamar & Zev's relationship.

I love the following photo. It feels like 'The Notebook'.
Care to know what a couple in love looks like?
Is there anything in the world as intriguing as a beautiful woman?

Good Morrow!
I've got some photos to share of a beautiful couple whose engagement photos I shared on the blog a few months ago.
Meet Gardenio:
Super fun, super cool, super nice.
Meet Daylenis:
Super beautiful, super kind, super caring.
The ceremony took place outdoors at a beautiful location in Wellington underneath a beautiful blue sky and a blazing Florida sun.
The clouds in the sky were so cool, so we took a few minutes after the ceremony to use them as a back drop.

The clouds in the sky were so cool, so we took a few minutes after the ceremony to use them as a back drop. What a super cute design. Daylenis saw this in a magazine and asked her baker to recreate it, which she did beautifully.
The majority of the reception was spent with G & D dancing like contestants on Dancing With The Stars and making me feel like I need to enroll in some lessons STAT. I have spent the past few weeks listening to the song that was playing when this photo was taken on repeat.
There is not way to describe the way these two dance together. It was a sight to behold.
After the wedding I asked Daylenis how they met, and she told me she went to a party where everyone was dancing and she saw this super cute guy (that'd be Gardenio). They didn't cross paths that night and Daylenis says she didn't know how to dance super well at the time, but she continued attending these parties and getting better and better at dancing until they finally partnered up.
Again, to see a couple that are so obviously in love with each other and to be a witness to them literally becoming lifelong dancing partners is pretty amazing.
A big thanks to G & D for being so much fun to work with and for the reminder that finding and holding on to the right partner is quintessential to a successful dance.

You know what I love? The word game. You know, where someone says a word and you say the first thing that comes to mind. Kind of like this:
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Skittles."
Noelle: "Two by Fours!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Uh, okay. Beans."
Noelle: "Fava with a glass of chianti!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Wow. That's special. Calendar."
Noelle: "Corn on the cob!"
Friend Getting Doctorate in Psych: "Maybe we should stop playing this game. I'm starting to get worried."
Maybe that was a bad example. Freudian slip. Let's move on to another version of the Word Game- Wedding Edition!
Cake!
Bling!
Double Bling!
Flowers!
Giant Bouquets!
Chandelier with Bling...
Which should not be confused with Chandler Bing:

You may remember Jack and Lena as the couple with the amazing engagement photos that taught me a valuable lesson about avoiding casualties at work. I just finished editing their wedding photos and am excited to share some of the day's highlights!
Here is Jack, getting ready. I started out with him and the boys getting ready and had a hard time keeping a straight face around his groomsmen.
Now let's meet the insanely gorgeous Lena:

What's the only thing better than one Lena?
Two Lenas!
All the bridesmaids were gorgeous themselves, and the combo of all the gorgeousness and the fantastic dresses had my head spinning.
The ceremony was held on the beach, on a beautiful day:
Which allowed us to take lots of photos right after the ceremony

Is the sky amazing or what?!

After which, we proceed to the party. I just have to share a few photos from the reception, especially this one, of Jack dancing with his mom, who is some kind of super ballroom dancer. This was the very last move of their dance, and the best man decided he wanted a photo of the ending as well, hence him and his camera to the right of the photo!
This was be the most excited group of garter-catching-hopefuls I've ever seen, along with quite the original pose from Jack!
And finally, the last shot of the night, when all anyone wanted to do was go to sleep from the intense partying!
